At the foot of Mt. Everest

Khumbu, the land of Sherpas, situated in the unique place. Typical Himalayan zone, surrounded by the gigantic mountains, among which the highest mountains like Everest and Lhotse.
We can see the numerous Sherpa villages, the well known is Namche Bazar, situated magnificently in an altitude of 3440m in the form of horseshoe.
The Monastery of Tyangboche, situated in an altitude of 3860m, offers the panoramic view of glittering mountains: Thamserku (6608m) and Kangtega (6685m) to the south; Mt. Ama Dablam (6856m) to the east; massive chain of Kongde (6187m) to the west, at the direction of Namche Bazar and Mt. Lhotse ( 8601m) and Mt. Everest (8848m) to the north.
At the first plan, the monastery with lively colors and its small votive monastery (Chorten), where the prayer flags are fluttering in the wind.
From the top of Kala Pathar (5545m), the panoramic view of Mt. Everest and its surrounding peaks is one of the breathtaking experiences for the mountain lovers.
The meeting with Sherpas, their innate hospitality and their generosity will make the trekking an unforgettable event.

Programme

Day 1      Arrival in Kathmandu. Welcome and transfer to hotel.
    
Day 2     Kathmandu.

Day 3     Kathmandu-Lukla by flight. Lukla-Pakhding. 3 hours walk.

Day 4     Pakhding-Namche Bazar. 5 hours walk.

Day 5    Namche Bazar-Tyangboche. 5 hours walk.

Day 6    Tyangboche-Pheriche. 5 hours walk.

Day 7    Pheriche. Acclimatization.

Day 8     Pheriche-Lobuche. 5 hours walk.

Day 9     Lobuche.Hike upto Kala Pattar and hike back to Labuch. 8 hours walk.

Day 10    Lobuche-Pangboche. 6 hours walk.

Day 11    Pangboche-Namche Bazar. 6 hours walk.

Day 12   Namche Bazar-Lukla. 7 hours walk.

Day 13   Lukla-Kathmandu by flight

Day 14    Kathmandu.

Day 15    Kathmandu. Transfer to airport.
