Confirmation
Every stay is considered as confirmed as soon as we received written confirmation either by fax or by e-mail and only when the down payment of 20% has been made.
If, at the time of registration, the name of airline company as well as the the date of arrival in Kathmandu are not known, you have to send us, 45 days before your arrival, the name of the airline company, the flight number, as well as the date of arrival in Kathmandu and also the date of departure from Kathmandu.
Hotel
The proposed hotels are standard in quality.
The continental breakfast includes : egg, toasts, jam, butter, tea or coffee.
Stopping the trekking
Any kind of reimbursement cannot be made at the time when a participant has started the trekking and she/he is unable to finish it for the individual reason of his will.
Change of itinerary
It depends on your understanding, but also on your personal responsibility to admit in case of bad meteorological conditions like: heavy rainfall, heavy snowfall on lower and mid altitude, heavy flow of wind in altitude, too cold etc. the trekking can be stopped in adverse weather conditions, which is necessary for your as well as Nepalese crew members' security by coming back down to the lower altitude without attaining the foreseen target.
It is sometimes more realist to change the itinerary and to visit a region of less altitude rather than to take useless risks by putting your life as well as the life of Nepalese crew members in danger. In the condition of change, any reimbursement cannot be demanded.
Insurance
You are strongly recommended to take out insurance against cancellation, assistance, repatriation and baggage in your country of domicile.
Upon arriving in Kathmandu, it is necessary to provide us with a photocopy of your insurance with its number, as well as the contact telephone and fax number of the insurance company of your country of domicile.
Any helicopter rescue cannot take place without financial guarantee and without the consent of insurance company. In Nepal, 1 hour helicopter service costs US $ 1880 to $2500 (depend on type of chopper available) and one time intervention can last from 3 to 6 hours fly depending on
the place of rescue and the weather conditions during the flight
Weight of baggage
For all the domestic flights in Nepal, the total weight of baggage is limited to 15 kg per person.
During the trekking, the personal baggage entrusted to the porters is limited to 15 kg per person.
Tip
The tips to the Nepalese crew members are not included in the contract price.
Responsibility
During the period of your trip, your are sole responsible of your personal security, your baggages, your equipments, your travel documents, your money and your welfare.
Cancellation
All cancellation must be answered in written, either by e-mail or by fax , directly to our agency in Kathmandu.
Cancellation charge
Upto 46 days before arriving in Nepal: reimbursement from down payment of 20%. An amount of US $ 50.00 per person is retained for the paper work.
From 45 to 30 days before arriving in Nepal: 50% from the fixed rate.
Less than 29 days before arriving in Nepal: 100% from the fixed rate.
